Where is Silver Sierra Stone produced?
While other manufacturers make stone in Mexico or elsewhere, we are proud to manufacture our stone veneers in Nevada. Because we source our raw materials regionally, we reduce the amount of fuel and other costs that would otherwise be used for shipping.
How is Silver Sierra Stone colored?
We use only the best ingredients to create a great product, with industry-leading iron oxide pigments to color our stone. We provide color matches and custom profiles to help inspire your very best work.
What advantages does Silver Sierra Stone have over real stone?
Our stone veneers are thinner, lighter in weight, and designed specifically for ease of installation and durability. They also are more cost effective – in some case, up to half the cost of using real stone. Stone veneers can be used in a wider range of applications, and their light weight eliminates the need for wall ties or footings.
How is Silver Sierra Stone different from real stone?
Unlike real stone, Silver Sierra Stone is a manufactured stone veneer that is cast from molds. The cinder used is sourced from a dormant volcano, then combined with various aggregates to create our veneers. Each stone is hand-painted and crafted individually to give each stone profile its own unique look.
